Don Jennings
The poet spent the first 15 years of his adulthood drunk, reading newspapers and novels, and believing both. Today he is a sober college graduate, an activist, and a homemaker who cares for a three-year-old daughter (and is also writing a book.) His political science professor thinks he is a genius; his wife is embarrassed.
